LOTUS APPOINTS MARIANA MANIER, BOLSTERING ITS LOTUS LATAM DIVISION
LOTUS, the specialist travel, representation, PR and marketing consultancy, has appointed Mariana Manier to join the LOTUS LATAM division. Mariana brings to the role over eight years’ experience working in Brazil, both in agency and in-house.
Mariana is native Portuguese speaker and has worked across a number of sectors including travel, finance, food and beverage, and technology brands, such as Deutsche Bank, PepsiCo, Itaú, Brasil Kirin, Sonae Sierra, Brazil’s Sugarcane Technology Centre, amongst others.
Mariana also worked in-house at JBS, the second largest food company in the world, managing a range of campaigns focused on sustainability, food security, animal welfare and compliance.
Mariana has a degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Candido Mendes and has worked as a reporter for Jornal dos Sports (Brazil) and as a copywriter at the Brazilian Securities Commission.
In 2012, Mariana completed a masters in Cinema and Photography, and recently completed a second master’s in marketing and Communications from Rome Business School (Italy).
Mariana joins the LOTUS LATAM division and will support on a number of Spanish and Latin American tourism accounts, including The Guyana Tourism Association and Bahia Principe Hotels and Resorts.
