THE CENTROAMÉRICA MEDIA & TRADE TRAVEL AWARDS 2025 NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

Submissions are now open for the Centroamérica Media & Trade Awards 2025, celebrating outstanding travel storytelling that showcases the vibrant destinations of Central America and the Dominican Republic to the British traveller.

Organised by the Central America Tourism Agency (CATA), the awards recognise excellence in media and content creator coverage that promotes the member countries of Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.

The 2025 edition will honour work published between 1 January and 31 December 2024, with winners announced at a special awards ceremony in Central London on Monday, 3 November 2025.

Award Categories

Entries are invited across four categories:

• CATA Travel Feature of the Year – Newspaper or News Outlet
• CATA Travel Feature of the Year – Magazine (Online or Print)
• CATA Travel Feature of the Year – Blogger (Blog Post)
• CATA Travel Feature of the Year – Influencer (Video or Social Content)

How to Enter

Journalists, bloggers, and influencers are encouraged to submit their work by emailing CATA@wearelotus.co.uk with the following:

1. Your full name
2. The category or categories you wish to enter
3. Your submission attached (PDFs, links, or other relevant formats accepted)

Deadline for Submissions

All entries must be received by 18:00 on Friday, 17 October 2025.
