Award-winning travel and specialist hospitality agency LOTUS has been appointed by Aubamar Hotels, one of Mallorca’s newest and most ambitious hospitality groups, to manage its public relations activity across the UK and US markets.

Within the scope of appointment, LOTUS will lead consumer and trade PR and media relations to elevate Aubamar Hotels’ profile among discerning international travellers. The hotel group has rapidly earned recognition for its contemporary Mediterranean design and personalised service. LOTUS will support the brand in amplifying these credentials across UK and US media, engaging key travel, lifestyle and MICE-focused outlets to introduce the new brand concept and its expanding portfolio.

A key focus of the remit will be the launch of Aubamar Palma Resort, opening in March 2026, which will further consolidate the brand’s growing premium footprint on the island of Mallorca. The resort brings together Aubamar Bali and Aubamar Suites & Spa, converting into a new luxury, five-star hotel resort with a total of 495 rooms. Opening for its inaugural season from 12th March 2026 through January 2027, the property will showcase meticulously designed interiors, expansive pool areas for all ages, and the highest rooftop bar in Playa de Palma. It will also offer best-in-class MICE facilities, including state-of-the-art meeting rooms, versatile event spaces and tailored corporate services suited to incentives, retreats and small to mid-sized conferences.

Aubamar Hotels is also contributing to the ongoing regeneration of Playa de Palma, one of Mallorca’s most significant tourism investment zones. The destination is undergoing a multi-year enhancement programme focused on upgrading infrastructure, improving public spaces and the promenade, and repositioning Playa de Palma as a premium Mediterranean hub for leisure, wellness, and business travel.

Onofre Pascual, CEO of Aubamar Hotels, commented:

“The UK and US have become two of our most important international markets. LOTUS has an outstanding reputation within the travel and hospitality sector, and their understanding of our destination and audiences makes them the ideal partner as we continue to grow Aubamar’s brand presence.”

Kate McWilliams, CEO of LOTUS, added:

“We are delighted to represent Aubamar Hotels, a brand that reflects the evolution of modern Mediterranean holidays. We look forward to showcasing their refined properties to discerning UK and US audiences. Aubamar’s new developments represent a key part of the wider transformation of Playa de Palma, supporting the area’s transition toward a modernised, elevated tourism model, a mission LOTUS is proud to support through our ongoing work with the Palma de Mallorca 365 Tourism Foundation.”
