CHRIS REDFERN JOINS LOTUS AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FOR PALLADIUM HOTEL GROUP
Travel representation and PR company, LOTUS, has appointed Chris Redfern as business development manager for Palladium Hotel Group, one of Spain’s leading hotel companies.
Chris joins Joanne Peters as the second dedicated sales representative for Palladium Hotel Group in the UK, bringing the number of UK representatives up to five including the UK PR and marketing team at LOTUS.
Christopher brings over 13 years of experience within the travel industry working as a sales executive for Jet2holidays. His appointment comes during an exciting period of growth for Palladium Hotel Group following the launch of new luxury hotel brand ‘TRS’ in December 2017 and a brand-new development scheduled to open in autumn 2018 to the northeast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. This includes a five-star family-friendly hotel the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa, and luxury adults-only property TRS Coral Hotel.
Palladium Hotel Group has over 50 hotels in six countries: Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Sicily (Italy) and Brazil and operates five brands: Palladium Hotels & Resorts‒with four sub brands: TRS, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotels and Palladium Boutique Hotels; Fiesta Hotels & Resorts; Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels; Ayre Hoteles; Only You Hotels, as well as licensed brand Hard Rock Hotels. Palladium Hotel Group has also revealed plans to launch a new hotel brand, ‘BLESS Collection Hotels targeted at the contemporary luxury market with the first property scheduled to open in Madrid in autumn 2018.
Chris will be based in Cheshire and his role is to work with the UK travel trade to develop awareness and knowledge of the Palladium Hotel Group properties, and ultimately drive agency sales.
