Coming to Ibiza in 2014...

Hard Rock International announces first European hotel in collaboration with Palladium Hotel Group

Lotus UK is excited to learn that Palladium Hotel Group is joining forces with Hard Rock International to develop Europe’s first Hard Rock Hotel, scheduled to open on Ibiza’s Playa d’en Bossa next May, just in time for the 2014 summer season. The collaboration converts two existing properties from the Fiesta Hotels and Resorts brand, Fiesta Club Don Toni and Fiesta Hotel Don Toni, into a new beachside complex, which will add a variety of new dining, shopping and entertainment options to the buzzing Ibiza scene.

The theme of the new hotel will evoke the undisputed legendary philosophy inspired by the music style that characterises all Hard Rock establishments and, staying true to its musical heritage, will also feature live music performances from international artists.

The Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will have over 480 rooms combining the island’s Mediterranean flavour with the philosophy of the popular Hard Rock brand, as well as 235 suites and spacious facilities, such as the Rock Spa®, Body Rock® workout facility, 8,600 square feet of meeting space, iconic music memorabilia and world famous Rock Shop® featuring Hard Rock’s illustrious merchandise. There'll also be two swimming pools equipped with bars, private bungalows and pool bar service, as well as a lobby bar, children's club, teen lounge and beach club.

The hotel will sit on the same strip as The Ushuaia Tower, Ibiza's newest luxury hotel which is also part of the Palladium Hotel Group portfolio, visited by Lotus UK earlier this summer on the official UK press launch.

Abel Matutes Prats, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group
We look forward to working with Hard Rock International on the upcoming development in Ibiza. Our team feels privileged to be a part of this project and we’re certain Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will be a success. We operate more than 3,450 rooms in 14 hotels in Ibiza, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Hard Rock as we’ve seen great success in our existing Cafe alliance.
Abel Matutes Prats, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group
With our existing European presence of more than 40 years and 32 Hard Rock Cafes, we look forward to establishing our first Hard Rock Hotel in the region, especially in conjunction with the well-respected European developer and the leading hotel owner and operator in Ibiza, Palladium Hotel Group. The collaboration is a natural alignment of interests for Hard Rock, as Palladium recently opened the Hard Rock Cafe in Ibiza. As we enter Europe, and make strides toward additional hotel development goals within the continent, we will seek relationships with quality developers like Palladium, while we remain dedicated to introducing our brand to new guests and existing Hard Rock fans.
