Happy Chinese New Year!

Great Wall of China

Yesterday people all over the world celebrated Chinese New Year welcoming the Year of the Snake.

The Snake is considered a powerful creature within Chinese mythology and it is associated with the element of fire. It is believed to bring positive feelings of warmth, comfort and light. The Year of the Snake is associated by many with wisdom and beauty, and it is said that those born during the Year of the Snake are intuitive, introspective and refined.

To celebrate and welcome in the Year of the Snake, we thought we’d share some beautiful images of China, kindly provided by Wendy Wu Tours.

China specialist Wendy Wu Tours is also celebrating the start of Chinese New Year by offering £200 off ALL fully inclusive group tours to China for bookings made before 28th February.
