LOTUS APPOINTED BY THE SPANISH TOURIST OFFICE
LOTUS represented the Spanish Tourist Office from 2009 – 2015 and has successfully won the account back following a competitive tender process.
Spain continues to be the number one travel destination for Brits with in excess of 17.6 million British visitors in 2016 accounting for approximately 23% of all international visitors.
LOTUS has been briefed by the Spanish Tourist Office to raise the profile of Spain’s authenticity, broadly focusing on three key themes: cities, culture and gastronomy. Activity will include strategic partnerships with key events and exhibitions in the UK, social media campaigns to increase destination engagement, media analysis and tactical digital support. LOTUS will also provide a day-to-day press office function for the Spanish Tourist Office.
