The capital of the Balearic Island, Palma, will be showcasing its contemporary arts offer following the recent reopening of the Joan Miro Foundation. The island also celebrates its nature ahead of 2023 which marks 30 years since being recognised as an official ‘Biosphere Reserve’. Led by Eleni Skarveli, Director of GNTO UK & Ireland office, this will be the first Greek tourism sustainability event on-stand at WTM and will outline sustainable Greek tourism initiatives focusing on the proactive actions presented by representatives of the islands of Astypalea, Naxos and Halki and he ECTAA. The newly launched GNTO platform Sustainable Greece will be presented to attendees.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jeddah Historic District lies within Jeddah, a port city on the Red Sea and the second largest in Saudi Arabia. Known locally as Al Balad, which translates to ‘The Town’, Jeddah Historic District is home to more than 600 heritage buildings, 30 mosques and five historic souks. Combining history and heritage with contemporary, creative excitement, Jeddah Historic District is a hub for thinkers, creatives, entrepreneurs and everyone in between.
Jeddah is recognised across Saudi Arabia as one of the Kingdom’s top cities for culture, and many of its art and cultural attractions lie within the Historic District. Visitors can find contemporary galleries, murals and public art installations within the city’s streets.
The team at the Jeddah Historic District will be available to discuss the expansion plans which are in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The destination is where old meets new and is an ideal gateaway for those looking to discover Saudi Arabia.

Learn about the intricate, Indonesian craft of batik which involves wax-resistant cloth dyeing to create beautiful motifs. The event will be washed down with a speciality Indonesian coffee tasting.
