Description:

LOTUS, part of W Communications, is an award-winning agency; recognised as a force in the travel sector. Representing a broad range of public and private sector travel clients, LOTUS is looking for an account executive to join the PR team thanks to a number of new client wins. 

The applicants should have excellent written and communication skills, good attention to detail, a nose for news and be well-equipped to work in a fast-paced cross-agency environment. They should have a passion for travel and a good knowledge and awareness of the current media landscape and news agenda. 

This job is open to both those with previous PR experience as well as those looking to take their first step in travel PR. 

Skills & Attributes:

  • A strategic and creative thinker and good communicator
  • Excellent writing skills and impeccable attention-to-detail
  • A strong knowledge of the UK media landscape and news agenda 
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Stong social media skills  

Additional skills which would be a beneficial (but are not essential)

  • A second language (Spanish in particular)
  • Exisiting network of media and industry contacts
