After a competitive re-pitch process the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute has reappointed the incumbent agency LOTUS for a five year period starting July 1st 2019.

The contract for overseas marketing representative covers the whole of Northern Europe and focuses on positioning Alaska’s seafood industry as a competitive market-driven food production industry and premium global brand.

ASMI is a public-private partnership between the State of Alaska and the Alaska seafood industry.

LOTUS has held the contract for five years successfully developing consumer and B2B strategies for wild Alaska seafood leading to consistent growth in retail and food service distribution. The new brief centres on development of new products for Alaska seafood, innovation in digital strategies and consumer marketing briefs that maximise protein consumption ahead of the Rugby World Cup and Tokyo Olympics.

The account will be led by LOTUS CEO Sarah Johnson with support from account director Katie Petherbridge, trade director Rebecca Wilson and account executive Isabel Luque.
