Lotus UK organises John McEwan’s 50 years in travel celebrations

Lotus UK was delighted to be the driving force behind John McEwan’s 50 years in travel celebration on the 9th October. The evening Champagne reception was hosted by Travel Daily and took place at the Guoman Charing Cross Hotel. It was attended by over 150 of John’s past colleagues and industry friends including some of travel’s most senior figureheads.

Speeches were made by Charles Gurassa, non-executive chairman of Tragus, NetNames & Genesis Housing Group, Deputy Chairman at easyJet plc and the National Trust; Christopher Rodrigues, chairman at Visit Britain; Willie Stewart, partner at Stewart Travel and John himself. They all spoke of the ex-ABTA chairman’s time in the sector, his influence in the industry and his leadership skills.

With huge thanks to sponsor Travel Daily, co-organiser Paula Martin and Steve Dunlop Photography.
