Media spaces available at Alaska seafood cookery demo

On Tuesday 1 December, ASMI (Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute) will be running drop in cookery demonstrations for media in Soho at Good Housekeeping Institute, from 12 noon – 3pm.

Press and bloggers are welcomed to stop by and meet the team, pick up some samples and taste our delicious recipes prepared by Alaska seafood ambassador and MasterChef winner Dhruv Baker.The event will comprise of four 30 minute drop in sessions which will introduce guests to an assortment of delicious Alaskan seafood recipes. This will be accompanied by the opportunity to taste a variety of wild Alaska seafood and practice canapé making skills ahead of Christmas with a range of ingredients including smoked sockeye salmon and tinned red salmon.

Each session run by Dhruv Baker will be themed to give attendees an assortment of angles and recipes to work with, but the same key information will be delivered in each demonstration.The event timings are as follows;

12.00 – Delicious Alaska Seafood:
Coriander and mint grilled salmon fillets
Pollock laksa

12.45 – Simply Alaska Seafood:
Thyme and garlic baked pollock fillets
South Indian salmon cakes

13.30 – Delicious Alaska Seafood:
Miso glazed black cod
Salmon, tarragon and lemon rillettes

14:15 – Healthy Alaska Seafood:
Coriander and mint grilled salmon fillets
South Indian salmon cakes

Media and bloggers are invited to drop by to catch a snippet from Dhruv’s demo, prepare a sumptuous bite at the Alaska seafood canapé development station and grab a goody bag, which includes recipes, press material and a sample of delicious Alaska salmon.
